Missed out on my Photo a Day over the weekend as was so busy! I'm trying to get back on track so here is todays Photo - Another attempt at the water drops, its a little bit out of focus but hey practice make perfect eh?
Missed out on yesterday Not good seeing as I'm only a few days in! But I was very busy so thats my excuse .
Just a little photo of nice couple of beers to end another busy yet productive day. Hopefully this will improve next week as I may have a bit more time to put into this!
I have entered a competition with Interflora for the best photograph of a rose, this is the picture I have entered, follow this link and please vote for me (if you think mine is the best of course).
Day 4 and had to rush this one a bit! Its not too bad but would have been better if the larger drop at the top wasn't out of focus but will have another go at these soon.
Having recently got myself a flash (just a little old Canon cheapy from eBay) I thought I'd have a play with it this evening and thought these little custom toys that I haven't got round to customising yet would be a nice subject.
Here is my next of my photo a day and also my first attempt at smoke, it is a little more difficult than I thought but I'm quite please with the results.
Well, I have decide to do a photo a day and whilst eating my dinner this evening the slogan on the mayo jar caught my eye and I thought that doing a photo a day would "bring out the best" in my photography, so this is a fitting first photo.
I had a nice walk around Coombe Wood in Croydon today, A lovely place that only looks better in the summer. It was so peaceful you just forget you are only a stones throw away from the centre of Croydon.
After seeing a few very good examples of these water droplet pictures I thought I'd give them a try myself. Out of around 220 photos taken I ended up with around 10 that were worth keeping so here are a few of the better ones. For my first attempt I thought they came out pretty good.
I’m Dave and I'm an amature photographer. You've made it to my Blog, hopefully to find out more about me and my photography. It’s really quite simple – I love photography,to me nothing is better than using my camera to capture a moment so it can always be remembered.
If you take a look through the various blog entries and my Flickr pages you will see the various types of photography that I enjoy, from nature and landscapes to candid street style. Please feel free to comment on any of my photos.
