Macro..........Mr Toad
Have been having a play wih the macro setting on my Sigma lens (AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6)
Getting to grips with using this without a tripod is a bit of a challange but Im really enjoying it also the quality of the lens is amazing bearing in mind its not an expensive lens.
Anyway here is a picture I am quite happy with, it was taken hand held whilst pretty much laying in the middle of a country lane in Norfolk........ Enjoy.

Mayfield Lavender Farm, Banstead Surrey
Took a trip to the Mayfield Lavender Farm today which was amazing.
As soon as you pull up there is a sea of purple and the smell is wonderful. We took a walk through the field and then stopped for a coffee and some lavender cake. Was a lovely afternoon.
Check out their website for more info - www.mayfieldlavender.com.
Ill let the pictures do the talking.......

Taste Of London 21/06/2009
I visited The Taste of London Festival on Sunday, it was a great day out. We were lucky with the weather and with thanks to a great friend we had VIP entry into the show with fast track tickets and British Airways champagne bar access.
There was so much at the show with stands from many famous chef's like Gordon Ramsey, Michel Roux, Gary Rhodes and Atul Kucher. I sampled dishes from Atul Kucher (Tandoor Smoked Lamb chops with a mint chutney) and Gary Rhodes (Lemon Tarte) along with many others.
The Bar Wizards put on a good few impressive performances and there was also an amazing dance display from the Thai Dance Academy.
A fantastic day out and I would highly reccomend to anyone who likes good food to get yourself tickets for next year.
